It’s also not so much that we have learned things the wrong way. That way was right at the time. As we develop new ways the old ways disappear through neglect. Directing attention in the right way does need a tool kit: a thinking tool kit. Words on a page is one thing. Meaningful directions for thinking in the form of operating concepts is something quite powerful. Otherwise effective online communication may only be effective in a technological sense. Communication that delivers human values is what matters in the end; and only better thinking can do that.
