Mobile & Flexible Working in the Public Sector 2008
23rd Jan 2008
Location: RIBA (Royal Institute for British Architects)
Time: 09:30 - 16:15
Mobile
working helps staff work out and about in the community,
closer to the citizen; and flexible
working practices ensure that services can be tailored to the citizen and delivered 24-7, as required by the Transformational Government Agenda. With the new environmental agenda that makes cutting
down on travel a necessity, and the
constant need for efficiency savings, the productivity
gains made possible by mobile and flexible working are vital
to all modern public sector bodies.
- Drawing up a flexible working strategy (cost drivers, sources of funding etc)
- Building and Estate issues including hot desking
- Green issues and transport issues
